I have been a patient of this practice for many years. Yesterday, I received care from the newest dentist, Dr Schercliff, and I hope I got his name right. He is wonderful and has a gentle approach.
I was fond of Dr Virtue and was concerned when he retired. However, he has left the practice in the hands of wonderful caregivers. I want to give a strong acknowledgement to every person in this practice for the care they provide to their patients.

I found Virtue Dental Care a few years ago as I was looking for a dentist who could understand & provide care in consideration of my health issues. If you require lead free fillings, non toxic adhesives as well as homeopathic treatments for your dental care (including gums), this it your place. I drive a little over 2 hours to visit these very professional & caring professionals. Dr Taylor, along with her entire staff are wonderful. I had tried other practices in the Roanoke VA area who claimed to use more homeopathic adhesives & actually had to return to one practice to remove a crown they had placed the exact adhesive I had told them I am allergic to. Thank goodness for Virtue Dental Care!!

I strongly suggest Virtue Dental as a great option. Dr. Shircliffe has a steady and gentle approach to his work, showing that he genuinely cares about what he does. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor. Ive been to several dentist and oral surgeons over the past 30 years and she is by far the best. Here are the reasons.she is friendly and patient especially if you fear going to the dentist. She explains what shes doing before and during the procedure so you're not in the dark. She and her assistants do everything. they can to make you as comfortable as possible.
And lastly and most importantly, I've had 2 extractions and a filling and felt no pain. I never even felt the numbing needles as they use a numbing cream to numb the surface of the gum beforehand. They also provide gas to relax you at a very low price. Well worth it trust me. She even got back to me very quickly when I had a need on a Saturday. To sum it up for you.if you're a big baby like I am when it comes to going to the dentist, you must go see Dr. Taylor, you'll never go anywhere else. Ive been to her twice now and she ll be my dentist forever. Thanks Dr Taylor if you read this, you are definitely a rare find.

I had a tooth ache several weeks ago and a friend from church recommended Virtue dental care. I have disliked Dentist since I was a kid! However, this is no ordinary dentist office. I have never been treated as well or seen such modern equipment. I also was truly amazed at how nice and friendly all the staff was. Dr Virtue treated me with the upmost respect and yet was very friendly and personable. I highly recommend u check them out the next time you need dental care. You will be just as amazed as I have been.

I have never needed dental work done (I am one of those lucky ones) This was my first filling and Janie and Dr. Virtue put me at ease. Kind of annoying to hold your mouth open for a few minutes, but I know there is no way around that! It was so easy and I went home laughing that I ever worried about a thing! Thank you Dr. Virtue!

I took my 5year old to see Dr. Taylor today for the 1st time. They.are.amazing! I left there in awe of how great this place is! How kind they were, quick and fixed his issue today with no running back and forth. for weeks. No medication, no pushy dentist, and no tears from my typically dentist shy boy! Thank you Dr. Taylor and staff!
