I started at Dental Touch Associates in February of 1998. I received my dental hygiene degree from Hawkeye Community College. As a dental hygienist, I love getting to know my patients and working together to achieve good oral hygiene. I have been married to my husband, Bret, since 2001. We have two boys, Parker (2004) and Carson (2006).

One of Dental Touch's Signature Services is the use of 3-D Dental Imaging. Regular x-rays are still the industry norm. But 3-D images are so much more help in treating patients that we use them on a regular basis. The latest development in crowns is the growing trend toward one-day crowns. New technology from the CEREC Corporation makes it possible to get a crown replaced in a single appointment.

I was born in Iowa City and grew up in the town of Dysart, which is about an hour from Cedar Rapids. I did both my undergrad and dental training at the University of Iowa and graduated from dental college in 1995. I joined Dental Touch one year later and have been here ever since. I am very passionate about changing the way our patients view dentistry.

I grew up in Cedar Rapids, graduated from Jefferson High School, and went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Mount Mercy University. I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
