As a courtesy, we will gladly file your dental insurance claims and collect just your estimated co-payment. As all insurance plans are different and vary by employer, patients are still responsible for any balance remaining after we receive insurance payments. Typically, plans cover a percentage of treatment rather than the full amount (although many will cover 100% of certain services, like twice-a-year dental cleaning). That's because unlike medical insurance, dental plans are designed to help defray costs - not cover them completely.
