Dr. Maikon grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and completed a dental residency at the VA Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Maikon joined Dr. David Wolf and was Downtown Dental Associates for several years before moving to her current location and becoming Family SmileCare Center, PLC.

Kim is a graduate of Benton Community High School and Kirkwood Community College. Kim's smile and voice are familiar to many patients. In addition to deciphering insurance coverage and benefits, she works to manage billing and patient accounts. She also keeps all of our computers fully functional and tackles undercover plumbing and maintenance.
