Desert Dental

I experience a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental matters, and my past dental experiences have not been the best. As a result, I have been putting off treatments, which has only made my dental hygiene worse. However, when I had to get a root canal at this dental office for the first time, I was impressed by Dr. Ruintan, who is truly exceptional.

From the moment he numbed me to the completion of the process, everything was amazing, and the staff made me feel at ease, which helped alleviate my anxiety. I was so comfortable that I did not have a panic attack, which is unusual for me.

I highly recommend Dr. Ruintan and am willing to drive from Goodyear to see him, which I believe is worth the effort.

I have been fortunate to have Dr. Ruintan as my dentist in Phoenix, AZ for a long time. I travel from Washington DC to visit Dr. Ruintan due to the high quality of his work. His work is indeed flawless.

I have had various procedures done by him, including root canals, crowns, repairing broken teeth, and veneers. All of his work has been exceptional. It is difficult to find a trustworthy dentist who can deliver outstanding results. In my opinion, Dr. Ruintan is among the top dentists in the country.

Dr. Ruintan and his staff are truly exceptional. I have been visiting him for numerous years and he is a genuinely kind person, with his staff being just as kind. I appreciate having such a fantastic, knowledgeable, and honest dentist. I am thankful to have Desert Dental, which is amazing, and I want to express my gratitude to them for being outstanding.

Dr. Ruintan and his staff are the best.
His staff shows they care about patients, ensuring comfort and explaining their actions to calm concerns. They allowed me to listen to music during procedures to help me unwind.

They accommodated me for an emergency appointment, and I am extremely grateful for the level of care provided. I no longer feel anxious about visiting the dentist. I highly recommend them, and my appreciation for their service is undeniable.

One visit in and I already know this is the office I will continue to go to as long as I live in Phoenix. It's easy to see where all the positive reviews come from. Almost every patient that arrived while I was there was greeted like family. You can see how much Dr. Ruintan cares about his patients. My recent dental experiences, primarily because of insurance limitations, have been with the chain/affiliated dental offices that seem to be independent but are really part of a network and, without exception, they've been incredibly "salesy." There was none of that.

I felt no pressure at all to purchase expensive products or services. My hygienist was incredible and really took her time to explain everything she was doing and why she was doing it. She was patient and answered all my questions. Most importantly, as someone with a history of dental issues, they weren't judgemental or shaming. I am so glad to have found a good dentist so close to home!

Dr. Ruintan does fantastic work. Thorough and caring. Staff is super. How often can you say you look forward to a visit to the dentist?

Don't go here! My insurance switched awhile back, so I needed to find a new dentist. I had an exam here and the dentist would not tell me if I had cavities or how many. He said I needed to ask the front desk. That was weird. Then at the front desk they printed the treatment plan and it showed 6 cavities. I had to go over the treatment plan by myself since the dentist refused.

I felt uncomfortable about the exam, so I called my old dentist to see if they still didn't take my insurance. Thank god they just took it on. I then went to have a second opinion from my previous dentist. I had the X-rays and treatment plan sent over so he could see. Turns out I HAVE ZERO cavities. This dentist was about to drill into 6 teeth for no reason.

This doctor needs to be investigated by the board. In response to Desert Dental: I definitely went there. The address and contact information on the documentation sent to my current dentist is Desert Dental. You probably can't find my records because my last name isn't Faith.

I was having an issue with my tooth that another dentist had worked on recently. He had done a root canal and crown and assured me xrays were ok. It was still painful and the other dentist insisted it was okay and that I should wait. I then went to Dr Ruintan for a second opinion- he diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes. The root canal was incorrectly finished and the crown was incorrectly placed.

Though not on his schedule, Dr Ruintan worked overtime on me on the same day along with his wonderful staff for over 3 hours and redid the root canal, removed the old crown - and placed a temporary one. I walked out of the clinic with no pain. I thought it was the anesthesia but still no pain 4 days later. Dr Ruintan is not just a dentist- he is a proficient, caring healer with the highest work ethic guided by his humanity and superior morality.

I highly recommend him, because there is no one I know who is more caring and genuine and skilled. Thank you to everyone at Desert Dental- from the reception staff to the dental assistants and hygienists; you are truly family!

I went last year to this doctor and after a week my tooth infected and now all teeth he fixed for me broken and painful i payed alot and was worst exprience that i had with dentist.

I am a dentist so I know how good this office is. I recently had an opportunity to change dentists due to retirement of my last dentist. I am a specialist in oral surgery so I had patients from many dentists come into my office. I had seen the quality of dental care provided by Dr. Ruintan previously. I saw him under because of a need for a very painful tooth. He was excellent with his diagnosis and treatment. My care was superb and with no discomfort. I am very happy to recommend my family and anyone to Dr. Ruintan.

Wow! After having bad experiences with a couple dentists I can fully trust this dentist! Very thorough, explains everything and even does high quality work! The office staff are very nice as well! Found a new home dentist!

For profit COSMETIC Dentist. Definately looking for the easiest and most expensive option for their needs. 6 months after having 4 cavities ata prior dentist, I now had 25 cavities requiring work and 3 crowns needed. He said he would explain why and then never did. Felt belittled and shamed the whole appointment. The hygenist pushe d all sorts of services on me and asked if I knew about electric toothbrushes and how theirs was a good bargain.

She took this to mean I wanted to buy it and put the $120.00 toothbrush and medicated toothpaste on my bill automatically. If you want to be insulted and forced unnecessary services, this is the spot for you.

I've been a patient for years. The staff has very low turnover, testament to the great working environment Dr. Ruintan creates. He is very thorough, conscientious, and humorous. A fantastic family dental practice! I HIGHLY recommend.
