We offer many options in orthodontic care for patients of all ages! Our services include traditional braces (metal or clear), removable appliance treatment (retainers to hold or to move the teeth), and Invisalign. In addition, we offer the latest in orthodontic bracket technology with the use of self-ligating brackets.

A native of Ames, Iowa, Dr. Thieberg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA in 1992. At the same time, Phi Beta Kappa awarded her membership. Her major was European Studies with a minor in Spanish Literature. Thereafter she completed a four-year Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. During that time Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, granted her membership, and she graduated valedictorian of her class.

When you get your braces on, you may feel general soreness in your mouth and your teeth may be tender to biting pressures for several days. During this time you may want to use ibuprofen (brand name Advil or Motrin), an over-the-counter pain medication. Eating softer foods such as soup or pasta may help with the discomfort.
