First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough oral examination, followed by a complete consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Depending upon the complexity of your case and the doctor's professional recommendation, treatment may begin at the time of the initial consultation.
Scheduling

Superior Endodontics is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you as soon as possible. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that our office provides surgical services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Insurance

Dental insurance coverage has become more complex due to the vast variety of plans available, and the range of benefits varies from one plan to another. Some plans may cover certain procedures while others may not. Additionally, some insurances may pay on a fee schedule which is unrelated to our office fees.
Financial Policy

Endodontic fees vary depending on the complexity of the treatment needed. Therefore, before any treatment is performed, you will receive an estimate of the all anticipated charges. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

My root canal hurt quite a lot. Dr. Micklow did not properly numb the tooth and it took multiple instances of her drilling until I felt a sharp pain, numbing a little more, and drilling until there was pain again, to get the procedure done. Also, the front office did not properly submit my information to my insurance company resulting in my claim being denied.

I visited this office recently and it was a good experience. Plenty of parking and minimal wait time. I was clearly told ahead of time what was planned for the visit as well as my financial obligation. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was clean and well-organized. They have modern equipment with impressive capabilities. Dr micklow and her staff are awesome, too. They really went above and beyond my expectations.

They refused to treat me because I refused to follow up with a particular dentist. This particular dentist did not refer me, and for reasons I won't discuss here I did not want to go back to her. Dr. Lackovic put me in the chair and verbally indicated he was going to preform the root canal I had schedule. He then proceeded to bully me verbally into seeing his preferred dentist again. He became agitated and yelled at me, finally yelling at me "I don't need this! I'm not flipping burgers." - it was frankly a terrifying experience for me.
