My profession means everything to me. It is what drives me every day and, other than my family, it is what I enjoy the most. Having the opportunity to make people feel better about themselves and their smiles, and to work with people who enjoy it as well, is unexplainable. The relationships I've built with my patients have made such an impact on my life; each day I have the opportunity to learn something new from a patient that continues to nourish my professional growth.The relationships I've built with our team also make me proud to be a part of Essex Family Dental.

I take great pride in building relationships with my patients while being able to have a large impact in improving their lives. Each day is an opportunity to make a difference, whether that is by educating my patients regarding their oral health, relieving pain, or just giving my patients a reason to love their smile.

I entered the dental profession to help people on an unmediated personal level. Above all else my goal is to provide the highest quality care and positive experience for our patients to improve and maintain their health. I am grateful for the opportunity to join such a dedicated team in providing service to a wonderful community.

Dr. Nathan Makay believes that continuing education is an essential part of providing quality, comprehensive care to his patients. He is currently active in Spear Education and has attended the Misch International Implant Institute, in addition to receiving special training in Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, and Perio Protect.
