Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates is an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Certified specialty dental office for infants, toddlers, big kids, pre teens, and teens with locations throughout the Twin Cities including St. Paul, Fridley, North Oaks, and Eagan. Our professional, gentle, and caring pediatric dentists have been providing quality dental care for children and adolescents since 1965. Beyond graduation from dental school, all of the pediatric dentists at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates have completed an additional 2-year residency in pediatrics.

Our pediatric dental practice was founded by Dr. Freeman Rosenblum in 1965. Dr. Rosenblum was joined by Dr. David Lipschultz in 1974 and Dr. Michael Cellitti in 1976. Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates was formed with the goal of providing all children with quality and compassionate dental care.
Dr. Joshua Lipschultz, DDS

Dr. Joshua G. Lipschultz grew up in St. Paul, MN. After earning a B.S. in Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, he completed an M.A. in Dental Anthropology at Arizona State University, where he also taught classes and advised undergraduate students. Following his time out west, and a year in Chicago, Dr. Lipschultz moved back home to attend dental school where he earned a D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.While working in private practice treating children, he completed the two-year residency in and earned his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the U of M.
Dr. Julio Sotillo, DDS, PhD

Dr. Julio E. Sotillo earned his dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry concurrently with his PhD in 2012 as a fellow in the Minnesota Craniofacial Research Training Program. He completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and joined the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota as full time Clinical Assistant Professor. During Dr. Sotillo's graduate training, his research focused on skeletal biology and bone remodeling.
