Following dental school, he worked as an attending professor at Baylor College of Dentistry and is currently in the final stages of completing a PHD in developmental biology. He then completed an additional 2 years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
