The youngest of four siblings, Dr. Edwin E. Yee, was born and raised in Leland, Mississippi, where he grew up working in his parent's grocery store. In 1975, he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. From there he went on to graduate from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, in 1979, from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree, in 1983, Pete Dawson Academy 1992, and completed his Louisiana State University Continuum of Cosmetic Dentistry, Level I, Level II, Level III, in 2002, and his Medical College of Georgia Program of Implantology, in 2005, and numerous other continuing education programs every year.
