I began my career with Advanced Dental Concepts in 1993. I can honestly say I LOVE MY JOB. It's a privilege to be here every day, working with such a talented group of people who all have the same goal, taking care of our patients. I have been married to the same wonderful man for over 25 years and have 3 grown children. I received my dental assistant certification from Atlanta College of Medical and Dental Assisting a long time ago. I have experience in both general dentistry and orthodontics as an assistant and as a laboratory technician.

A dental filling is used to replace damaged or diseased tooth structure, also known as cavities. We only use tooth colored filling materials at Advanced Dental Concepts to provide you with a healthy and esthetically beautiful smile. Many people with teeth that have larger silver fillings may have had experiences with these teeth breaking.

You will find several talented clinicians involved with your oral therapy at our office. Because this concept may be new to you, a short explanation will probably help you understand the logic behind this type of practice. Your dentist will be responsible for your overall therapy. Even though we have four wonderful dentists, we want to keep you scheduled with your preferred dentist in our practice. Our registered dental hygienists will accomplish your oral cleanings and take any necessary dental records during your preventative appointments.

Dr. Forshee is very knowledgeable and kind. Every staff member I have met is also very kind and helpful. They did my newborn's tongue tie revision and my four year old's. They also have a military discount!

The dentists and certain hygienists are good at their jobs and kind, however the office staff do not always respect your personal medical choices and are often rude. The structure is very inconsistent. They insisted on cancelling my appointment because I wouldn't wear a mask after previous discussions of alternate plans as well as previously not being forced to do so.

We started as patients several years ago because of their family-friendly structure. They have changed most of this, masks being only one of the issues. UPDATE--After talking with someone about these issues, they said they would work for a better experience. They stated that we wouldn't have this issue again anyway, especially if we "went at less busy hours so other patients couldn't see us without masks and want to be allowed to go without masks as well." We then took our child to an appointment, and they were exceedingly more rude and forced him to wear a face covering as well, something never done in the past. Our decision to leave was easy.

Just went today. My hygienist was Chassidy and she was VERY patient and informative with me. I was nervous and between her and all the staff they made me feel so comfortable. I appreciate the break down of pricing and the transparency they had with me. I look forward to coming back in a few weeks :

Bait and switch! They claimed that they accepted United Concordia insurance (Tricare) so we let them set up an appointment. They cancelled that appointment after waiting weeks because it was a holiday (remember THEY picked the date). After waiting another month for an appointment, we drove all the way there to find out that while they "accept" Tricare it only covers a minuscule portion of the work to be done. It's almost like they withheld that information on purpose. We'll take our business somewhere that doesn't waste our time and is upfront about the costs.

I went in to get a crown done that was about 12yrs over due. I was greeted immediately because of COVID-19 protocols. My information was updated and I was asked to return to the waiting room. After about 5 min an Assistant came and got me to take me to the chair where the work would be done. We discussed what was wrong and how the procedure would go.

The Dr came in and went over basically the same information for redundancy (it's smart to do). I'm not the biggest fan of needles in a dentist office due to a bad experience as a kid, but all that went away. The shots didn't hurt, the procedure didn't hurt, and the possible jaw pain or soreness doesn't exist. I understand that not all patients will have the same experience, but I would recommend ADC to anyone looking for a new dentist or someone needing dental care.

Clean and professional atmosphere. Everyone took every effort to ensure that my needs were taken care of. Everything was explained thoroughly and I was pleased with my first dental visit. Dr Forshee is very pleasant.

The staff is amazing. I haven't been to the dentist in a few years due to a bad experience. I've been a few times to Advanced Dental Concepts and they made me feel very comfortable with the treatments that I chose. I would recommend them to anyone. Cheyenne was the first hygienist I came in contact with and she was very informative and very professional

Rude and unhelpful. I have gone to Advance dental since I was in high school. I was always ridiculed for my teeth by the hygienist despite knowing how self conscious I was about it. But the final straw came when I went to tell them the filling they did had chipped when I was away at college. I was told it was not a big deal to worry about by my hygienist and we continued on with the cleaning.

Now that I am at a new dental practice I have to get a crown put in because the chip has gotten worse. I called Advanced Dental Concepts this morning to ask as to why I was never told this needed to be dealt with and was met with a receptionist who blamed me for not following up a week later "like it said in their notes" I was supposed to do. I was never told about the urgency needed to be taken just that i needed a deeper cleaning when i was physically in the office.

They decided to tell my mother who is not the one who needs to make the appointment. At this point I'm 23 years old and paying for this. ADDITIONALLY they refused to give me my xrays so I could get my wisdom teeth removed at the Navy Base which is where my dads insurance would cover the procedure. I highly recommend anyone who likes to understand the procedures, cost and overall what is going on when you go to the dentist to never set foot in this place.

I had anxiety about an extensive treatment plan, but with the patience and understanding from some great hygienists and Dr. Forrest, I am almost finished a 5 year plan today. They have been amazing, thorough, professional, and supportive every step of the way. My children are also made very comfortable and happy by every staff member they meet. I am so glad we found this place!

Great office! Office is very clean and staff was very courteous. I've never had anything but good things to say. Staff was very knowledgeable about explaining my insurance coverage to me and answering all of my questions. Also, while the waiting area is nice and kid friendly, I've never spent much time there. It's refreshing to have a doctor appointment that is on time and you don't have to wait in the waiting room for what feels like forever. Lastly, Dr. Forrest was perfect for my daughters first ever dental visit. My daughter left there with a smile on her face and remains excited about returning to the dentist every 6 months. Highly Recommend!
