One of her favorite parts of the job is seeing the beautiful and life-changing smiles the doctors create for our patients.

To practice orthodontics, Dr. Hamer and Dr. Glassick spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency). The orthodontic student spends three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.

Dr. Hamer's father opened the original Hamer Orthodontics. After seeing his father's love for creating smiles, Dr. David Hamer was inspired to pursue a career in orthodontics. With more than 30 years of sharing the joy of beautiful smiles, expert orthodontist Dr. Hamer serves children, teens and adults of Charlottesville and Crozet, VA.

Dr. Glassick taught dental students and General Practice residents in the Restorative and Surgical Department of the University of Colorado. Dr. Glassick uses the latest technology to help make your smile journey faster and comfortable. Dr. Andrew Glassick is a board-certified orthodontist serving the community in Central Virginia at Hamer & Glassick Orthodontics.
