Dr. Caplin has been in practice in the same location since 1978. She did her undergraduate work, majoring in Biology at Boston University followed by attending New York University School of dentistry to attain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). NYU awarded Dr. Caplin a Certificate of Merit in Oral Medicine and Distinguished Dentist Award in Removable Prosthodontics.

A: The brand of the toothbrush is not as critical as the type of bristle and the size of the head. A soft toothbrush with a small head is recommended because medium and hard brushes tend to cause irritation and contribute to recession of the gums, and a small head allows you to get around each tooth more completely and is less likely to injure your gums.

You can pay for your office visits and any treatments by cash, check, or credit card at the time of treatment. We do not participate in any dental plans, but we accept what your insurance pays and you will be responsible for the difference between the insurance payment and the dental fees.
