Roger & Nadene Tipton met at Baylor Dental School, after he graduated from Texas Tech and she from TCU. After marriage, they took their combined expertise and started Double T Smiles, a practice that specializes in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. They are passionate about caring for children and their smiles in a safe and fun atmosphere.This led to them obtaining their certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Orthodontics; both of which are voluntary endeavors and unique to the Lubbock area.

Dr. Roger Tipton is a specialist in dentistry for kids and those with special needs (a pediatric dentist) in Lubbock, Texas. After receiving his dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry, he continued his specialty training at Baylor, receiving his master's degree with rotations at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Children's Medical Center in Dallas.

We have used Double T Smiles for all of our children to get braces. We love the environment, the kind staff, & Dr. Nadene! They do a great job of getting your appointment done in a timely fashion, connecting well with your kids, and helping them to get a beautiful smile they are proud of. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

My 3 yo had her first dentist appointment here today! The staff was amazing! The ladies at the front desk where so kind and great to talk to. Dr. Tipton has the kindest manner and spoke in such a gentle tone to my little one and put her at ease, even took her for a tour so she could see the really cool rooms they have. I am so happy I have a dentist I trust. Thanks Dr. Tipton and staff y'all rocked my littles first appointment!

We absolutely love this place and our kids enjoy having their dental checkup's done routinely here. Front desk staff Jennifer and Jenny are really helpful and friendly. All the staff are really awesome and they do really a great job. We had our baby's tongue tie procedure here using laser technique and they really took care of him very well with the regular check ups and follow up. Definitely recommend this place

After my initial low review, I received a letter from Dr. Roger Tipton. He very kindly apologized for his staff person's behavior. We have established care for my children at my family dentist. Therefore, we likely will not return at this point. However, I would like to say that I Very Much appreciate his reaching out to me. It shows his dedication to making things right. Looking back, I should have contacted him directly at the time of the incident instead of writing a review.
I work in healthcare and own a business, and I realize it is often hard to satisfy and please everyone. When my children need braces, we will definitely consider Dr. N Tipton. Thank you

Dr. Tipton truly worked a miracle for me. I struggled with TMJ for years and after months of pain and different types of treatment I was referred to Dr. Nadene Tipton. She used a treatment plan with braces and it only took a couple of months before my TMJ was resolved. She has the friendliest staff and the office is such a neat place for kids! You can tell there was a lot of time and effort put in to every detail. Dr. Nadene is the sweetest and she radiates intelligence. She and her husband make such a great team. My son is a year old and has already seen Dr. Roger. There is nowhere else that we would go. I recommend them to everyone I know.
