As the designated neighborhood "helping hands" teen in my small hometown in Oklahoma, I grew up believing I would become an adult working in health care. My motivation has been to care for people and to please them from my earliest years. By my second year of dental school I had decided to become an orthodontist committed to making people smile beautifully for a lifetime of life's big events. These many years later, orthodontics is still my way of purposefully living with my patients, their families and my co-workers.
