Dr. Brete Moran was born in Milford, Connecticut. He graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa, and attended Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. After earning his DMD degree in 1986, Dr. Moran completed his Periodontal Residency at Boston University. His private practice, Brete D. Moran, D.M.D., L.L.C. was established in 1988, and now has offices in Branford and Milford.
If you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment. Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment. Brete Moran, D.M.D., LLC. will complete an in-depth medical and dental health history and a thorough examination to measure for bone loss, loose teeth, bite, oral cancer screening, TMJ, and other signs of periodontal disease. We will need current periodontal or dental x-rays in order to see disease not otherwise visible.
Brete Moran, D.M.D., LLC. is available Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. Please allow approximately (60) minutes for your initial visit. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

Dr. Moran and his office team are fantastic! The office is extremely clean and welcoming. They instantly put me at ease (not an easy task when I visit the dentist!). Dr. Moran answers all of my questions and concerns very clearly and in confidence. I felt no pain or discomfort either during or after my procedure. Dr. Moran is the BEST!

Dr. Moran and his staff are amazing. They knew I was nervous about my procedure and they took the time to explain to me what they were going to do and the time it would take. They were very knowledgeable, caring and comforting. They truly cared that I was comfortable. They told me the worse part would be the injections to numb me and they were right. Dr. Moran called me later that night to check on me and make sure I was doing ok.
I think this was the first time a doctor to call me after hours. He truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him. Kristy at the front desk is very kind. She will make you fell at home as soon as you walk through the door.

Dr Moran and his staff are wonderful, caring people. They show genuine concern about the patient's comfort and recovery. Dr. Moran verified that I was comfortable several times during the procedure, and followed up with a phone call that evening to see how I was feeling. I would highly recommend Dr Moran to anyone. I actually enjoyed my visit to his office.
