Horrendous experience. Staff is lacking in personality and professionalism. Dr is too cocky for his own good, and quality of service is subpar at best. Also, they have a wall of nobodys as if it assists w the poor management. Save yourself the gas and the trouble.

A very gifted scam artist who charged me 2100$ for my mouth guard when the average rate is 700$ and then charged me 3000$ for my next mouth guard claiming it was "a newer version". Upon comparing prices with a different dentist the other dentist seemed shocked and appalled by this story and said it was "highway robbery".

One of the rudest people and money greedy people I have seen. I went there for regular cleaning. They fabricated the cost and asking me do additional unnecessary treatments, but when I asked them for more details about the treatment the dentist was rude and asked me to find another place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They have built a system to ripe you off.

Words can not describe how wonderful of an experience at Dr. Rostami's office I have had! I have been a client of his for over 3 years and I have learned more from him than any dentist I have had. I always feel excited to come to his office and feel very comfortable. He and everyone in his office have been beyond supportive and kind to me over the years. -Shannon

RUDE. I did not request this elitist rude dentist, I was assigned to him. I tried to get an emergency appointment FOR A REFERRAL- not a long detailed appointment or procedure. He refused. Was closed on Friday and said he was completely booked all month. I went to his office to try to get an appointment, it would take less than 30 minutes, and he was at his desk (not working on a patient) and he came into the reception and threw me out!

So rude. The receptionist tried to apologize for him, saying it was "Covid" and they were only letting one person in at a time. No one else was in the office! The receptionist claimed there was a patient "in the back." Don't go to this jerk, there are plenty of other dentists who would welcome you with dignity and warmth.

Brentwood Dental Group is great! The care provided by Dr. Rostami and his staff is genuine and professional. He is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He has great bedside manner, he is honest and does care about his patients. He does impeccable work and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Also, brand new in 2021 he has updated his office design!

Brand new wood floors for better hygiene with Covid 19 protocols. Bright light, bright paint and he takes the utmost precautions to make sure patients are safe. On-site temperature checks, Covid pre-checklist of symptoms, air filters in every room with good ventilation and most importantly they all wear masks and face shields. Also, they do not schedule more than one patient at a time to reduce on the amount of contact with people as possible! Great work! Give him a try!

I should sue this office for gross negligence. I have been trying to get an appointment for three days but they keep making excuses about my insurance. I have continuously provided my insurance and they have kept making excuses why they can't treat me. This office is terrible and the doctor I can't speak of his skill but if he is willing to let me wait three days in pain rather than treat me he is not a very good doctor and person. Avoid at all costs do not let them near you. My suggestion is make an appointment somewhere else and never ever bother with this doctor.

Absolutely horrible. The most unprofessional dental office I have ever been to. I can't believe I was ever a patient.

Dr. Rostami is the best dentist that I have ever went to! He is very thorough with his comprehensive examination! He spent with me about an hour going over x-rays and pictures explaining every detail and causes behind it. he is very conservative with his diagnostic! He always tries to save the tooth. He did my fillings and they look so natural. Dr. Rostami highly recommended TMG guard Because I grind and clinch.

He balanced my guard as well. This made me absolutely more aware of grinding and clinching so the guard is protecting my teeth from getting cracked. I always have it with me especially when I m at gym/driving/ working on the computer and for sure at night! I also want to thank the wonderful staffs that every time I go, I feel less anxious and made the experience great :

Dr. Rostami is one of the most caring, professional and just friendly people - let along amazing dentist. What I liked most is he took a conservative approach, so while other dentists were saying I should take out my fillings for new ones, he told me at the moment they weren't necessary. I came in because of a crown adjust from previous dentist, and it turned out perfect both look and feel! Now I'm a patient for life. :

What Samantha said. Everything at this office is an itemized up charge and you are going to see more clipboards and boilerplate explanations than you will actual dental work. They do not make an effort to work within your existing dental insurance and are always selling something more expensive. The "deep cleaning" is simply an itemized version of a normal cleaning you can get at other dentist offices. It's possible that the people happy with this office are wealthy, otherwise yes, this place is a rip off and also quite stressful to visit. as you anticipate every visit is going to become an upsell on your dental health. Avoid.

The staff at Brentwood Dental Group (including Dr. Rostami) were very nice and accommodating. It was my first time at this clinic and I did not feel pressured or intimidated at all. They understood that I have a busy schedule and they made sure to accommodate my request. Dr. Rostami himself even did my cleaning! Will definitely recommend this clinic and will be back for my next cleaning!

I came for a cleaning here years ago and never returned.but they keep calling and hounding me to come back so felt compelled to write a review. This place is basically one giant criminal scam. As with many many patients, I was told (more like pressured into believing) I need a deep cleaning that would be over $1000 and a ridiculously expensive night guard.

I was confused because I'd seen a dentist 6 months prior to this and (of course) everything was great with no mention of any (SCAM) deep cleaning procedure. Now, suddenly 6 months later, I need this very urgent, very expensive treatment? Out of no where? No - sorry, don't think so. When I brought this up, they just kind of dodged the question and said yes I suddenly needed a deep cleaning. Needless to say, I escaped and went straight to an AMAZING dentist in Santa Monica who has repeatedly told me everything is great and wonderful and I don't need any ridiculous scam treatments. Please please please consider going anywhere else than this place!

I like going to Dr. Rostami's office. He did my fillings 5 years ago and everything is still fine (in Russia I would have to redo them every year). Parking might a challenge, I suggest to take Uber.

At Brentwood Dental Group the staff is brilliant and very enthusiastic at helping you. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get an effective short or long term dental treatment. The dr is very thorough and honest about what you need, he doesn't upsale services like most dentists do. I Also like him because he was very considerate of my pain tolerance, he had been very patient with me throughout the whole procedure. Im glad I found this dentist and will def come back for other treatments

It has been a week since I started having pain. My friend referred me to dr Rostami for a dental check up. After I called for an emergency appointment, they were able to squeeze me in as soon as possible. The team is very kind, they made me feel comfortable, the whole process was seamless, they use top notch dental equipment. The dr confirmed that it was a root canal that caused me pain.

I trust %100 dr Rostami analysis and results, he is very experienced in the dental field. Thank you everyone for being supportive and accommodative I m planning on making dr Rostami my permanent dentist

Steer clear of this place at all cost! And it WILL cost you! As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, this dentist is nothing more than a scam artist. I was told I had 3 fillings that needed redone, I needed a deep cleaning on all four quadrants and I needed a TMJ guard. so basically about $2K worth of out of pocket expenses. Thankfully, I was able to switch my insurance and see my old dentist who told me that NONE of those things were needed and, in fact, it was negligent to request a deep cleaning on my mouth! To boot, the doctor texted and called me to get coffee which is just.unprofessional to say the very least. Seriously, do NOT go here.

Dr Rostami is an exceptional Dr. I have visited a lots of doctors before I got to choose him. Don't look anywhere else for your treatment. Before I met him, I have not smiled in a while because of my misaligned and chipped teeth, I was very insecure. I'm glad my friend referred me to him, he has done a great job on my teeth and helped me to gain back my confidence, now I can show off my amazing smile and refer my Dr to all my friends

I'm not sure how this guy is still in business. Read the other reviews, everyone had the same experience I did. Two friends of mine also experienced the same thing. 1. Will tell you need a deep cleaning 2. Will tell you you need a $1200 night guard 3. Will try to sell you procedures you don't need using fear tactics. Dr. Rostami has been my dentist for almost 10 years. His work is very meticulous and high-quality. He is very thorough at takes time to explain everything in detail. He tells you all the cost up front so there's no surprises later on. I recommend him to anyone needing it that this near the Brentwood vicinity.

This office tried to take advantage of me. I went in for a cleaning. They did not give me a cleaning but instead took x-rays, and pictures of my teeth. I was told I needed 4 cavities filled, a guard for grinding my teeth made that was over $1000, and some kind of medication for my gums. They quoted me over $3000 and wanted me to pay/ start paying on the spot.

I was told I would be sent my x-rays when I left but had to contact the office 2 separate times until they actually sent them. I was told they would not send me the pictures they took of my teeth. The pictures of the teeth serve no purpose besides an extra charge for the patient. I went to my old dentist, who I trust, and found out I only needed one cavity filled.

I did not need any guard for grinding my teeth. I did not need any medicine in my gums. They were trying to SCAM me into dental work I did not need. Do not go to this office.

I do not recommend this dental office. It's untrustworthy and a negative environment. Other negative reviews here sound very similar. I should have known when the dentist was arguing with another patient when I came in. First of all, I didn't appreciate that after my X-rays they took pictures of my teeth without mentioning that it would be an additional cost.

They made it out like this is required and what they do, and next thing I know I had to pay around $60-75 out of pocket for them. The dentist is also very negative in nature, it wasn't about looking at my teeth and asking me how I was. The first thing he said when he walked in the room was, "okay let's look at all your problems." Then instead of doing an exam of my teeth, he only looked at the pictures and gave me list of issues that all of course were going to cost me thousands of dollars.

The front desk staff also wasn't very friendly, so the experience never felt like a good one. After switching to another dentist, turns out I'm in decent health and had only two of the needs that Brentwood Dental listed. I recommend you choose a different dentist!

The most important factor when dealing with a dentist is quality quality quality. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable through out various questions I had. I will definitely be making this my new dental and speciality dental office. Thank you everyone for all your help.

Beautiful dental office with beautiful caring staff. They are very reasonable with their fees if you do not have dental insurance, they have definitely earned my business and I would recommend Dr Rostami to my friends and family! Thank you for making my dental visit such a pleasant experience!

One of the most caring and professional doctors i know. Dr. Rostami is not only friendly and compassionate but he is one of the most professional and experienced dentists i know. He always makes sure that you knkw what you need and takes the time to explain EVERYTHING to you. I have been his patient for the last 16 years and i have only good experiences. His staff are always kind and wecolming. Very much recommended. Look no further, this is YOUR dentist.

I've been a patient @ Brentwood Dental Group since 2007 and the experience has been a great one. Since my first visit in 2007 my oral health has been healthier than ever before. They are professional, courteous, and make you feel comfortable as if you were w/ family. My initial visit w/ Dr. Rostami was straight forward to the point made me feel that he cared about my health and not just the bottom line. Thank you Dr. H, Lettie, Liza.

Went in for a routine checkup. Showed up early - they started early which was nice. Once they got my pictures and assessed my teeth, game over. They told me I needed a deep cleaning and that a regular cleaning would NOT be beneficial in fact it would make things worse? They told me I am close to having periodontal disease. It's true my last dentist appointment/cleaning was last year, but I'm vigilant about caring for my teeth.

I brush and floss every day, so they are telling me that has done nothing in terms of prevention. I told Dr. R that it made NO sense that a regular cleaning wouldn't help me at all to which he had no reply. Sent the receptionist immediately in my room after my periodontal assessment to hard sell me and commit to a deep cleaning at that very moment.

I deferred about a million times and when I tried to make an appointment for a regular cleaning she asked the Dr. R if that would be ok with him. So after telling me about all the scary stuff I had going on and multiple attempts to NOT get a deep cleaning the receptionist finally set me up with an appointment for a filling and REGULAR cleaning that I literally just canceled.

Not that it makes a huge difference, but I'm a nurse and I'm in school to become an NP, so this experience was a little bizarre. I finally decided to yelp this place and I'm glad I did - looks like a lot of other people had a similar experience! If I were you just AVOID this place if you want to get treatment thats HONEST and FAIRLY priced!
