Dental Implants
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. This solution offers permanent stability for crowns, bridges, or dentures while preserving bone structure. Ideal for patients with single or multiple missing teeth, implants restore chewing function and natural aesthetics. Our surgeons use 3D imaging to ensure precise placement and long-term success.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth removal prevents or resolves impaction, infection, and alignment issues. We perform surgical extractions for teeth trapped beneath the gumline or causing crowding. Patients benefit from reduced postoperative swelling and faster healing through advanced techniques. Most procedures include bone grafting to maintain jawbone density for future dental work.
Bone Grafting
Bone grafting rebuilds jawbone volume to support dental implants or address deterioration from tooth loss. We use autogenous bone or donor tissue to stimulate natural regeneration. This procedure ensures structural integrity for implant placement while preventing facial collapse. Recovery typically takes 4-6 months before proceeding with restorative work.
Jaw Surgery
Corrective jaw surgery realigns misaligned upper and lower jaws to improve bite function and facial symmetry. Performed in conjunction with orthodontics, this treatment addresses speech impediments, sleep apnea, and chewing difficulties. Virtual surgical planning minimizes operating time while ensuring precise skeletal adjustments for long-term comfort and aesthetics.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extractions eliminate severely decayed, damaged, or overcrowded teeth. Simple extractions use forceps for visible roots, while surgical removal addresses broken or impacted teeth. Bone grafting often follows to preserve socket integrity. Patients receive detailed aftercare instructions to prevent dry socket and promote uneventful healing within 7-10 days.

We offer All-on-4, All-on-6, and bar-attachment dentures anchored to titanium implants. Your surgeon will recommend options based on jawbone density and aesthetic goals during consultation.
Do you handle dental emergencies after hours?
Yes, our surgeons are available for urgent cases including facial trauma, severe infections, and broken teeth. Call any location for immediate guidance and same-day treatment when possible.
How should I prepare for wisdom teeth removal?
Avoid eating 8 hours before surgery if receiving sedation. Arrange transportation and stock soft foods beforehand. We'll provide detailed pre-op instructions including medication guidelines during your consultation.
What sedation options are available?
We offer nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia. Your surgeon will recommend the safest option based on procedure complexity and anxiety level during pre-operative evaluation.

Report
I have had oral surgery twice at Riverside Oral Surgery (once in River Edge and once at their Westwood practice & both times w/ Dr. Cho) and each time was a success. I do not like dental procedures but everyone was so great (especially Dr. Cho), and that made the experiences much less difficult to go through. Moreover, they truly care and were great at following up after the procedures to make sure that I was doing fine. Thank you Riverside and Dr. Cho for being so great at all that you do!

Report
First went to Dr. Auerbach with my daughter when she needed teeth extracted. He was very kind and patient with her and put us both at ease. His staff was also terrific. That was about 10 years ago. I am currently under his care for dental implants and once again I am very pleased with him and his staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Auerbach and his marvelous staff.
