The Dr. is very misinformed about breastfeeding. She told my husband that "breastfeeding after one year is dangerous to the baby". And tried to scare him by saying that, "breastfeeding will cause tooth decay and can cause an abscess leading to hospitalization". She even went as far as, "you need to tell your wife to stop straight away" and also said that "your pediatrician shouldn't be telling mothers it's okay to breastfeed after they're a year old". Breastfeeding is proven to be beneficial even after the first year of life. It makes me sad to think that some mothers may listen to this misinformation and decide to cut their breastfeeding journey short.

I had a really pleasant experience here. The dental hygienist, receptionist and dentist are all very friendly and nice. The dental hygienist was very informative and let me know exactly what she was doing, when she was doing it and why she was doing it and that really helped with my anxiety. Anxiety has become a daily struggle for everyone to combat nowadays. It just is with everything to be aware of. The dentist office is the last place one might expect that anxiety level to improve, but that's what has happened after each visit. The experience at Dr. Ona's dentist office has definitely changed-it's had to adapt to keep everyone safe. I was dubious that the human touch could be felt through the full surgery getup every employee dons. However, Dr. Ona and each member of her team continues to work hard to meet me with compassion, knowledgeable care, and seeming geniune wish to make a connection with me and every patient visiting. I greatly appreciate their efforts. Thank you!
