I can't say enough good things about Surf City Dental! My daughter recently needed her first filling, and from start to finish, they guided me through every step of the process. Dr. Stear was incredibly kind, taking the time to explain everything in detail and making me feel heard and understood. She thoroughly went over the treatment plan and gave me several options to consider. The treatment coordinator also took the time to walk me through the payment process, explaining my options in a way that was so helpfulespecially in todays economy where every penny counts. We've seen other doctors there, too, and theyve all been fantastic! Dr. Compton is incredibly down-to-earth and compassionate, and Dr. Parr is truly an expert in his field. I also hear they have an impressive in-house lab! Its safe to say weve found our dental family at Surf City Dental!

My husband and I have been going to Surf City Dental for over 17 years. Ten in Surf City and over seven in Myrtle Beach. We commute two hours each way from Myrtle Beach twice a year because we trust the dentists, Dr Parr, and their assistants. Shannon is an excellent assistant and a big reason why we keep going. My experience with Surf City Dental started six months ago when I relocated to the surf city area, the moving van left and I lost a crown on my tooth that Friday night. Google found the closest dentist, I called Monday AM and I had an appointment the next morning. I met Dr Comptom , she assessed my situation and calmly reassured me that it could be fixed. The office is bright and calming. The video screen shows live views of the Surf City beach, a pleasant distraction while nervously sitting in a dental chair. Within two days I had two perfectly fitted and functional crowns. A payment plan that I could easily manage. And a plan for future maintenance. Fast forward six months to my first cleaning and checkup on Valentines Day. The staff remembered me with warm greetings and friendly chats. My crowns still fit comfortably. The hygienist cleaned my teeth, answered my questions simply and thoroughly. Dr Compton and her staff make sure every procedure is explained, The cost for treatment and treatment payment plans gone over clearly. They work diligently to create a plan that is affordable and doable. Most of all all work done is of the best quality to maintain the health and integrity of the teeth and gums for each individual. I no longer dread my dental visits. I actually look forward to my appointments and visiting with the staff.

I can not recommend Surf City Dental enough. My mom Shannon is my dental hygienist and she is great at personal care. Everybody at surf city dental treats me like family and makes me feel at home everytime I step into the building. Dr.Parr and his team are all very knowledgeable and extremely professional. It is awesome seeing them grow to what they have turned into and having their hardwork pay off. I would not trust my Dental hygiene with anybody else!

I suffer from severe anxiety and suspected that I needed a tooth pulled. I didnt really have pain, but it was getting very suspect. Only ever had teeth pulled under full sedation in the past. But I have to say that the whole experience has been very good considering were talking about an extraction. I think Ive found a dentist I can hang with. The staff was absolutely awesome. They really went a long ways in making me feel more comfortable. I did have meds the night before and an hour before the appt so of course that helps. They were also able to see me quickly. I asked my wife to help me get an appt because I knew I would continue to delay. She woke me Monday morning with the phone in her hand saying you have a 10am appt. Then they got me set up for the next day at 8am. There hasnt really been any pain to speak of. Definitely not during the procedure, and the recovery has been good with only minimal aching sensation. Never thought Id see the day that I would say that I had a great experience at the dentist office. I feel a tad liberated. Thanks again to the whole staff.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed my visit! Everyone was very caring. I had a very thorough exam and was given options for on going care. January did a very good cleaning. She explained things very well.

Dr. Bronstein was very professional, polite and understanding of my current medical concerns.

Dr. Compton was wonderful. Kind, attentive, the work was impeccable. I could not recommend her more. You can tell she loves what she does and is great at it.

The dental hygienist, Lily, was very professional and cordial. She covered every question and concern I had.
Ditto with Dr. Compton, she went over all issues that needs to be addressed, very patient and professional, she showed me every detail of the x-rays and prioritized the next steps to take.

I had heard great things about Surf City Dental but my first visit exceeded all expectations. I visit the dentist regularly and have lots of experiences for comparisonthis office stands head and shoulders above the rest for courtesy, professionalism, friendliness, attention to detail, concern for patient comfort, patient education, sensitivity to financial issues, patient privacy, creating a lovely patient care environment, and all around excellent patient care. All staff introduce themselves and greet you by nameclearly, there is an office standard for excellence and each person I met provided exemplary care!

After reading the many other positive reviews, we decided to bring our children to Surf City Dental. Dr. Parr and staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The dental hygienist as well as Dr. Parr asked several times if I had any concerns or questions. I did not feel the Dr. was in a rush to get in and out of the room and made sure we were well taken care of. The office is very well decorated and clean and the location couldn't be any more convenient. I would highly recommend Dr. Parr and his wonderful staff.

Surf City dental is the best dentist I've ever been to. The staff is so caring and makes you very comfortable. Ive had several procedures here and each one was a great experience. I've also had several emergency visits and each time they accommodate me right away. I highly recommend this dental office.

I come from a dental background, so finding trustworthy professionals to be in my mouth is sometimes a challenge for me. I just moved here, so I was needing to find a new dental home. Dr. Full is heaven sent and has the sweetest personality. She genuinely cares, and listens to your concerns. She has my vote for being one of my favorite dentist! Today's appointment was my new patient exam with Chandler.

Surf City Dental is a great practice to go to. It is a very clean and up to date facility. Dr. Parr is a fantastic dentist. As well as Dr. Bronstein and Dr. Full they are both excellent. I called and the front desk was very efficient and worked me onto the schedule. Chandler was my hygienist and she was very comprehensive and caring when it came to cleaning my teeth. She will be who I see from now on. I would highly urge anybody that needs a dentist to come here.

This was my first time visiting surf City Dental. I was extremely pleased with the experience. My hygienist was welcoming and explained each step. There are 3 dentist's in the practice. The dentist I saw could not have been nicer. She too took the time explain everything and be sure I had no additional questions. This was a great find and strongly recommend Surf City Dental.

Surf City Dental is without a doubt the best Dental Facility I've been to. Calling it a "Dentist Office, " doesn't do this place justice; "Dental Spa" would be infinitely more accurate. My hygienist Chandler was an absolute rock star, Dr. Paige Full was beyond efficient and informative, and wrapping up the mobile payments with Kelsey at the end was the icing on the cake. It's an unusual feeling leaving a dental appointment feeling exciting for your next visit, but you will understand after your first visit. 10/10 highly recommend!

I have been going to Surf City dental since 2016. I have issues with gum recession, teeth clenching, teeth shifting, etc. I have had these issues for years, and going to the dentist was always sort of horrible, however this has now changed. Dr. Parr and his team are wonderful. They give me options for how to improve my gum and teeth health, ie types of mouthwash, regular floss vs dental "tape, " which I find works better, using a water pick or even explaining things like why my teeth shift, the importance of cleanings and bone/jaw health, and even the pros/cons of lemon water.

These things have helped me tremendously, and I feel like the office staff is more progressive in their dental knowledge than other dentists I have visited before (not that my former dentists were bad, but it's nice when you're given more feedback then, "well you need to floss better.") I also have had the best hygienists. They get my teeth clean and it's pain free and that's saying something due to my gum recession and root exposure.

They also offer a very fair wellness plan which covers cleanings and repairs if you don't have dental insurance. The staffing coordinators will work with you on payment plan options. Lastly, I never feel judged by Surf City Dental. They make it clear that they have "seen all of this before, " and it shows in their compassion for their patients. If I ever move out of the area I will miss them! Great job!

Everyone was so nice. Wellness plan is a must & absolutely worth it. I've never felt more relaxed at a dentist office. The staff is amazing. I can't say enough about my hygienist. She put me at ease & my cleaning looks & feels so much better. If you are feeling anxious or worried about being judged, don't be. This is the place to go.

My family and I have been long time clients of Surf City Dental. Recently my Mother passed away and I called to cancel her upcoming appointments. The next week I received a Sympathy card in the mail from Surf City Dental with signatures from the whole staff expressing condolences and sending prayers. What wonderful thoughtful souls to care for their clients enough to extend such empathetic thoughts and gestures such as this.
