The University of North Carolina Dental School is consistently ranked in the Top 5 of dental schools in the United States. The Dental Foundation provides annual support to the school of more than $2 million in scholarships, fellowships, professorships and program support. Dr. Bishop is on the scholarship committee and a part of the Chancellor's Circle of giving.

At Jessica Bishop, DDS, PA we know we can't change the world, but we try to change our little corner of it. Digital dental x-rays not only offer 80% less radiation exposure to the patient, they are also extremely "green" because there are no chemical wastes nor disposable film materials. We also have the ability to email x-rays for referrals and transfers, thus eliminating paper waste. Our patient identification system consists solely of digital charts. This has eliminated paper waste in our office.

We spend time educating you about your specific dental needs and what options are available to you. It is important to us that you understand the full scope of your dental condition and select treatment that is most appropriate for you.

Our dental hygienists provide comfortable and thorough dental cleanings to each and every patient. Regular preventative dental visits are a necessary part of maintaining good oral health. We recommend at least two dental cleanings per year for optimal oral and overall health. Dr. Bishop completes a dental exam that includes an oral cancer screening, a periodontal assessment and a detailed tooth by tooth documentation.
