Our goal is to provide safe, state-of-the-art dental care in a friendly environment. We spend time educating our patients and their families to have a comfortable understanding of their care and actively participate in treatment decisions. Our conservative and multi-disciplinary approach often involves other specialists to provide optimum care.

Laser Dentistry
Report
Laser Dentistry, as its name implies, uses lasers to remove or alter soft and hard tissues for different dental procedures. Dr. Hollar began using lasers in dentistry in the early 2000's and has owned and used a variety of lasers in dentistry for many years, from the very simplest of diode lasers to the much more complex and versatile erbium-yag lasers and CO2 based lasers.
Dental Hygiene
Report
Everyone should brush their teeth two to three times a day, preferably after every meal. However, if you can at least do it every morning and night, you are on the right track. In a family home, everyone has their typical morning and bedtime routine. If you can incorporate a healthy routine including teeth brushing, flossing, and an oral rinse in the morning and at night, the kids should get used to it.
Pediatric Dentistry
Report
Dr. Wayne Hollar DDS recommends you bring them in as soon as you see that first tooth starting to emerge or by their first birthday. A child who has never been to the dentist before will be unsure of our intentions, and there are things we can recommend when preparing them for their first visit. Even though baby teeth will fall out and adult teeth will replace them, they still need to be tended to as adult teeth via flossing, brushing, and oral rinses.Sealants are a preventative procedure. Sealants are much like flowing "super glue" into the grooves of back teeth.
Oral Surgery
Report
Any tooth can be extracted for different reasons. Common reasons for tooth extraction consist of trauma or decay, crowded teeth, infection, compromised immune system, gum disease, and problematic wisdom teeth. Dr. Wayne Hollar, DDS, will perform a simple removal if the tooth is visible. In this case, we administer a local anesthetic and then loosen and remove the tooth.
