Got a very honest second opinion on the need for a root canal on a new crown. Didn't use scare tactics like many dentists do to sell an expensive service. I sincerely appreciate honesty and would highly recommend this place

Nobody really wants to go to the dentist but it is necessary. I like this dental office as they keep up-to-date on the equipment and everyone in there is really nice. It had been a while since I got my teeth cleaned and they did a really good job of that and also found a couple of cavities. I went back for follow-up appointments on the cavities and they were able to get them filled. I have had no trouble with the fillings and the whole process was fairly painless.
I always go by myself so they have to do the numbing with shots as nobody goes with me to drive me. So that part is a little painful but they do a topical numbing before they do the shots and it makes it much better. If you are looking for a dentist in the Greenfield area I recommend both Doctor Brian and Doctor Trent as both of them have worked on my teeth.

Pushed for a lot of what was possibly unnecessary care. I'm writing this review about 5 years after my visit (I think I visited in 2012 or 2013). When I visited, he pushed for multiple procedures that left me shocked at the quantity and potential price I could incur, so I sought a second opinion. I visited a different dentist (someone who came highly recommended) and she said I only needed 1 filling, which came to less than $100. That was 5 years ago. My teeth are fine and I haven't had any pain in the last 5 years. I'm glad I didn't go back to Dr. Kirkwood. I wouldn't let someone I hate come here.
