I went to Pacific Smiles looking to get some cosmetic work done to replace a front tooth I've had missing since childhood. Dr. Kim thoroughly evaluated my case using digital xrays and advanced imaging. He took his time to discuss all possible options with me, and I felt confident going forward to complete treatment with him. The process was easy and straight forward, yet a lot of detail was taken into consideration, which was very important to me since it was a front tooth being worked on!
Within two weeks from my initial consultation appointment, my Maryland Bridge was placed and I couldn't be happier! The color match, shape, and length are perfect. It blends in seamlessly with my natural teeth. Additionally, all of the front desk staff, assistants, and hygienists are very helpful and friendly which completes the entire 5 star experience. I would recommend Pacific Smiles to anyone looking for a new dentist!

I had 2 large fillings replaced today and had a bit of anxiety about it prior to coming in. I had a 9 am appointment and was walking out the door by 9:35. Dr. Fred Kim and his assistants were VERY quick and efficient. I felt no pain or discomfort the entire process. I have never had such a great experience at the dentist! I am so glad I found Pacific Smiles!

I have been a client of Dr. Kim's since we moved to Redondo over 10 years ago. I was very lucky I chose the best dentist in the area! Dr. Kim is a perfectionist and will make sure you are beyond satisfied with your procedure. He is also a very nice and personable person. The hygienists are all highly skilled and super friendly. The front office staff are awesome to deal with as well. I honestly enjoy going to the dentist because everyone there makes me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Pacific Smiles.

I needed six front teeth removed (upper arch) and then have implants done to replace them. I found Dr. Kim in Redondo Beach and selected him because of the description of his services and abilities on his web site and his patient reviews of those services. I could have had an oral surgeon do the implants but had the confidence that Dr. Kim do all of the necessary work. He did the extractions (without anesthesia) and it was done virtually painless for me.
He then made me a temporary bridge for the 3 month period you wait for the implants to settle in. I didn't have to use a "flipper." Dr. Kim also replaced an existing partial for my bottom arch. He is simply a brilliant dentist who is very thoughtful, is a great communicator and has superior skills. To add to that, his staff is flat out top notch. They understand what it mean to provide superior service. I highly recommend that you consider Dr. Kim not only for dental services but implant services.

I have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, and this is the only office I've ever been where I feel comfortable. Daniella and Andrea have taken SUCH good care of me. They remember my flavor preference, and always check in to see if I'm nervous or have any pain. They are EXTREMELY gentle, even with the plaque buildup that always ends up behind my permanent retainer. And of course my anxiety is worse with covid.
But everyone in the office is double masked with a face shield. Their glove procedure is perfect, every room has a high power air filter. And the office is spotless, which was true even before COVID. The doctors are extremely professional, and take excellent notes. They don't go overboard with the x-rays, which I appreciate because my mouth is small and getting an x-ray tends to be a pain because the shields are too big. I've been coming here for. 7 years?! And every visit is better than the last. Thank you Pacific Smiles!
