Smiles gave me the opportunity to fill out paperwork ahead of time which got me into the seat quickly and on time. The hygienist was professional and personable as was Dr. Jenna - the dentist. It was as good an experience as a trip to the dentist can be, I think.

I was terrified of the dentist. I couldn't even get my teeth cleaned without sobbing. The associates of Smiles of Valparaiso make the experience so comfortable and never dismiss your fears. The staff is far above the rest. They go above and beyond for their patients. I called on a Sunday afternoon as an emergency and the Dr called us back got us a prescription and a time to come in the next day. They are not in my insurance network but they are worth it! Top notch care!

I was extremely nervous about coming to Smiles. I had a bad experience at a different dental office, (the doc was mean to me and made me cry).I expressed my concerns with the front desk girls, they were sympathetic and comforting. Upon entering the girls were very bubbly and fun. I was brought back and the docs assistant was so relatable. We bonded and shed some tears. I went through some depressive episodes and just.neglected my teeth.
Now I am trying to save my teeth and get back to liking my smile again. Dr Foster was amazing. Very nice and good bed side manner. (He didn't make me cry) he talked to me like he talked to his own family members. He was optimistic but made sure I understood the different possibilities. We have a penciled in treatment plan and I finally feel well taken care of and appreciated. The whole staff made me feel, like a human being.
I definitely recommend Smiles to everyone I meet now. I honestly can not wait to go back to see them. Even though it might be painful to my mouth and pocket, at least they are there to hold my hand and work with me.
