All of our dental assistants are EFDA's (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary). An EFDA is an individual who first must be an Ohio State Dental Board-Certified Dental Assistant in the Art of Restorative Dentistry. This process requires that a person be accepted into an accredited Ohio State Dental Board program.

Meet Dr. Schlessel

Dr. Shawn Schlessel, a Cleveland native, attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies. After graduating from dental school from The University of Tennessee, he joined one of Nashville's most recognized cosmetic and general dental practices. There he learned to perfect his craft as well as continue his education with the latest dental technology and courses.
