The people here are amazing! I see Dr. Krische. Him and his assistant are so wonderful. I suffer from anxiety and trauma from a childhood dentist and they just totally exceeded all my expectations! They made me feel comfortable and not nervous! He made sure to talk me through everything he is doing and was understanding without any judgement! I will never go anywhere else now and I will definitely be taking better care of my teeth! Definitely recommend them!

Called to make an appointment as a new patient and the receptionist asked what days and times worked for me. I told her what my availability was and she said there was nothing open so I asked what the next week looked like. Her response was well there is nothing open until September. Soooo why did you first ask what day and times work and then tell me you are booked for 6 months. THEN after explaining it's not just a cleaning that I have pain gave no solution or advice. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

I had Dr. Vanhorn do four crowns on my front four teeth, basically reconstructing my smile, and he did an amazing job! I have nothing to say but great things from them so far. I am new to Lawrence and was scared to try a new dentist but they made me feel very welcome. There is water and coffee in the waiting area but I never had to wait very long in the 3 times I visited I was taken back within about 5 or 10 minutes(I showed up early too).
After I had my temporary crowns they did a fitting and the crowns were very pretty but not quite perfect and I was nervous to say anything because I didn't want to be picky but Dr. Vanhorn agreed with me and sent them back and told the person that made them exactly how they should look. I really appreciated him doing that on my behalf because when they came back for the second and final fitting they were PERFECT! Honestly these crowns have changed my life and I want to cry out of happiness when I see them sometimes because my teeth were so bad before but now I can smile again. I know I sound a little gabby but I really have faith in them, and wanted to leave a good review so others can see and trust them too :)

EVERY CROWN PETERSON PUT IN MY MOUTH ARE NOW GONE. THE LAST GROWN PETERSON INSTALLED LASTED 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE TOOTH BROOK. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Switched to these folks (Dr. Krische, but others on a couple of occasions) many years ago after a combination of problems at our previous place. So long experience here with multiple family members - all good/great. Everyone from front desk to the folks with their hands in your mouth is very good at what they do. Also thoughtful, patient, helpful and caring.

I've been a patient since 1996. Started out with Dr. Peterson and now have Dr. Van Horn. Very professional practice. Since they've moved further West of the city it's a 15 minute commute for me to get to my appointments but Dr. Van Horn is worth it. I also appreciate the level care with handwashing, cleaning the equipment, and overall cleanliness of the facility. I once had a dentist in KC who didn't bother to change her gloves when she went from one patient to me. I could tell she did this because the lipstick on her gloves wasn't mine! So I'm so pleased to have found a dental practice that is professional.
