You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area.

York is a native of Seattle, has achieved various scholastic and professional accomplishments, and continues to learn and improve in dentistry techniques and patient care. She is very involved with her study club, Bolender Prosthodontic Seminar.

A dental prophylaxis is a cleaning procedure performed to thoroughly clean the teeth.
Periodontal Therapy

Periodontal maintenance or scaling aims to protect gum and bone health. It requires more skill and expertise than prophylaxis procedures as it goes deeper under the gums than a simple prophy. Root planing is the definitive procedure designed to remove plaque and calculus from these surfaces. It is indicated for patients with periodontal disease and is for the removal of cementum and dentin that is rough, and/or permeated by calculus or contaminated with toxins or microorganisms.Some soft tissue removal occurs.
