Hope Clinic is poised to become one of the first free clinics in the nation to offer fully integrated behavioral/mental healthcare organization-wide. And Hope's services are co-located, which means that no matter what need brings someone in the door at Hope Clinic, they have immediate access to food support, medical care, dental care, counseling and behavioral health, healthcare navigation, baby care items, and even free laundry.

Hope Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr. Daniel Heffernan. Dr. Heffernan saw the challenges many individuals and families faced trying to obtain adequate healthcare without insurance. He responded by gathering a group of volunteers who opened a Saturday morning walk-in clinic. The clinic was housed in borrowed space, serving patients, expecting nothing in return.

SIGHT Clinic

The SIGHT clinic is a pilot study working to improve the rate of detection of severe eye diseases. Eye screenings are conducted using telemedicine. Telemedicine is healthcare where doctors can provide care even when they are not in the same place as the patient by having information and testing sent to them through the electronic health record and the internet.
