Our patient's medical safety is of the utmost importance to us. A thorough medical history is evaluated before any treatment is given, in an effort to avoid any medical complications. In the event of an emergency, our staff are fully trained and certified in CPR. Our office is also equipped with an Automatic Defibrillator should a need arise.

Insurance

We will help you understand your benefits, let you know your obligation, file your insurance claim for you and keep track of the progress. The anticipated uninsured portion will be due at time of service. Keep in mind that insurance was never intended to pay the entire price of dentistry. Dental benefits are a help in payment.

Emergencies

In a busy practice, such as ours, true dental emergencies are frequent. These include swelling, pain, broken teeth and front teeth, that show in the course of a workday. We fully understand that emergencies are disruptive for all parties involved. We ask for your patience with the scheduling of an emergency.

Our Staff

Dr. Samuel B. Gaskins, IV, is a native of Jacksonville where he attended Terry Parker High School, FCCJ and Jacksonville University. He completed his dental training at the University of Florida. Dr. Gaskins completed a one-year general dentistry residency prior to starting a practice in 1990. Dr. Gaskins had a successful practice for nine (9) years in the St. Nicholas area before relocating to his current location in 1999. He has enjoyed seeing his practice flourish with the help of all involved. Dr. Gaskins is passionate about his work.

The best dentist! I've been going to him my whole life. As a child I needed a tooth removed and was worried it would be painful. He numbed me, was setting up, and checking if the numb medicine was working. I asked if it would hurt and he said "Well, I guess not. Its already out". BEST DENTIST
