If you have dental or medical insurance, determine whether or not Rekos & Border Oral Surgery is a participating provider with your insurance plan. If Rekos & Border Oral Surgery is not part of your network, you may still have the option to use out-of-network benefits. The insurance carrier can provide you with coverage percentages for both in-network and out-of-network providers. As a courtesy, we will submit the initial claim to your insurance company for services we provide you, at your request.

Sedation Options

The next level above minimal sedation, moderate sedation, is designed to keep you conscious, but you may drift in and out, and may not remember parts, or any, of the procedure. As the name suggests, oral sedatives are taken by mouth. You take medication approximately an hour before your procedure, as it takes approximately 30 minutes for the medication to start working.
