Remove tartar from teeth surfaces. Tartar, or calculus, is plaque that has become so hardened on the teeth that its removal requires special procedures. Regular exams and cleanings are important for your child's oral health.

Mouthguards for Kids

This is the least expensive type of mouthguard and is available at most sporting goods stores. It comes pre-molded. The biggest issue with these mouthguards is that because they are pre-molded, there is no guarantee that they will properly fit their mouth, and they can increase their risk for injury.

Teeth Whitening for Kids

Not only is soda full of sugar, which provides food for the oral bacteria that can cause cavities, it can also stain teeth with regular consumption. Use a whitening toothpaste. Whitening toothpaste contains abrasives that help to scrub away surface stains. Some contain very mild bleaching agents. Even simply brushing twice a day with regular toothpaste can help to eliminate minor surface stains. Regular dental visits. During biannual cleanings, the scraping and polishing of their teeth help to eliminate surface stains.
