Dr. Derek Rice acquired the Copper Ridge Dental practice in the Fall, 2017. The poor review Yelp has listed is for the previous owner of the practice. Dr. Rice extracted a tooth in preparation for orthodontic work I was to have done. I had been extremely nervous about having this done but with his calm and cheerful manner, he talked me through the procedure, explaining everything he was doing and what to expect with the appearance of the space while it was healing. Dr. Rice also called to check on me that evening. I have heard from many of his patients that he is not one to push unnecessary procedures and takes a wait and see approach.

This dentist is not my regular dentist however I needed to see a dentist while vacationing in TC during the month of August. He is the regular dentist of a friend of mine whom resides in TC. She recommended him. I was not impressed. He was rude, sarcastic, and darn right cruel to his staff. He talked down to them while behaving cheesy nice to me as his patient. He tried to talk me into getting extensive and costly dental work that was unnecessary.
He sounded like a hard sell-salesman. Most appalling was his mean, nasty, disrespectful behavior toward his staff. I agree with the previous review on this dentist. I would never recommend him. He has the worse chair side manner I've ever experienced from a dentist. I was very happy to return to my regular dentist whom treats his patients and staff with kindness and respect. Unlike this dentist.

Dr. Brian Feeney recommended that I get an NTI for the nightly grinding and clenching of my teeth. I am so glad that I did! After having it for over a year, I would not be without it! I never realized how many past headaches and how much previous neck pain was due to the clenching and grinding that was happening when I slept. I no longer have the discomfort of the headaches and neck pain using the NTI, which adds so much to my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Feeney!
