Well, I got into dentistry mostly because my father was a dentist. My partner, Dr. Dave, always wanted to be a dentist since he was a little kid. I was not in that category, but I liked the idea of working with my hands. Being my own boss was actually very appealing. Having a group of people that you kind of direct and create something that you liked, and you wanted to pursue, is kind of what appealed to me. The most rewarding thing now is I have patients that first came into the practice as young kids, and now they're adults.
