Graduating in the top 15% of her Dental School class at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Dr. Kumar was a commissioned officer in the US Navy where she served as a general dentist. Prior to going to Dental School, Dr. Kumar graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Crystal Lake South High School.

Your initial visit will include meeting with the doctor, examination of teeth, evaluation of existing dental work, a check of the health status of your gums, oral cancer screening and a full set of diagnostic x-rays. With digital X-rays and intra-oral camera tour, you will see your own teeth and the inside of your mouth magnified on a flat screen.
