Dr. Herman accepts reimbursement from all standard indemnity insurance plans. Most PPO plans allow subscribers to receive dental care "out of network" at a slightly higher fee. Bethesda Dental Care welcomes all persons with PPO insurance plans. Dr. Herman does not accept DMO or HMO insurance. In recent years there has been a significant increase in managed dental health care in which insurance groups make contracts with local companies to provide dental care for specified fees and with numerous regulations and stipulations for patients.
