It is the philosophy of the Associates in Family Dentistry that the most important of these building blocks is an excellent staff. Our combined dental team has an incredible 205 years of total dental experience. Several have been with the practice more than 30 years, and many have more than 10 years experience working as a team in this office. The Associates in Family Dentistry was started in 1969 in Northern Colorado by Dr. Eric Pettine.

Sheila is from Faribault, Minnesota, and attended college at Mankato State University. In 1983, she came to Fort Collins and started working with Dr. Pettine and what is now Associates in Family Dentistry.

Dr. Mucci was born and raised in southwestern Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, and continued on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL in 1986. From there, Dr. Mucci moved to California where he started a dental practice in Azusa.

We take a holistic approach to your dental care, which includes an oral cancer screening as a part of your regular exam. Like many kinds of cancer, oral cancer can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated early.

The initial visit involves a review of your medical history. When you share your medical history, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health.
