Upselling. Like a few other reviewers, I was shocked when I received my bill. I went in for a cleaning. The tech asked if she could do various things, and I thought she was just being polite and letting me know what she was preparing to do before doing it. I was unaware that each thing would be a separate charge. When I left, I was a little shocked to be charged over $300. No big deal I thought, once my insurance takes care of their end, I'll be refunded most if not all.
I was wrong. That $300 I paid was AFTER they billed my insurance over $1000 for things I didn't even realize I was being charged for. My advice, other than going elsewhere, is to ask them everything they plan on billing you for before they do any work on you and repeatedly during the procedure. If they politely ask "Do you mind if I inspect your gums?", that really means they poke around for 30 seconds then add another charge of your bill.

Absolutely avoid. The dentist and office are a complete scam. Went in for a routine teeth cleaning and was billed $200 AFTER INSURANCE PAID. The doctor spent maybe 2 minutes total looked at each of my teeth with a tool and called that the "teeth cleaning"

I went in over 2 years ago, the first time I went in I felt every pain of my root canal, I came back maybe 2 weeks after she said she got the infection out. My tooth is now black and rotting because the problem was not solved. Now it is on my credit, that I will not be paying because the problem was not resolved.

Dr. Paulus is one of the best dentist I have seen. She is comforting & patient. She provides lots of infortmation about whatever procedure you're getting done! She has several different payment options & is more than willing too work with you financially. (She accepts some insurance.) I got an extraction done when I seen her. She made sure I was completely numb before starting my procedure, stopped if I felt anything besides pressure & finished quickly. Afterwards she uplifted my spirits with positive comments & made sure I was comfortable before she left out. I'm 18 weeks pregnant & she is who my OBGYN recommended. I will definitely be going back if need be! Overall my first experience was awesome! Staff is great & super helpful as well!

As someone who suffers from extreme anxiety about dental visits I must say that Dr Anita Paulus and her staff are awesome. They are personable, friendly and very caring. She immediate puts you at ease, and does everything in her power to make sure you're comfortable and pain free. If you're looking for a dentist that really cares, Dr Paulus is the one for you.

Not only do I have dental anxiety and sensitive teeth, I'm extremely hard to get numb. I've sat for two rounds of multiple fillings with Dr. Anita Paulus, and she has been nothing short of a saint. She's incredibly patient and kind, but also works quickly and efficiently. I would recommend her to anyone with any dental anxiety or pain management issues. Thanks Dr. Paulus & staff!
