Dr. Salamati is a periodontist who offers non-surgical and surgical treatments for tooth and gum restoration as well as cosmetic dentistry procedures. Periodontal (gum) disease is characterized by different stages and levels of severity, from mild gingivitis to advanced periodontitis. These conditions develop when dental plaque is not removed from the teeth and left to form pockets between the gums and teeth that are prone to infection. While gum disease starts as inflammation in the gums, it can worsen to damage the teeth-supporting bone, resulting in tooth loss.

Dr. Salamati received his dental degree from UCLA in 1996. He continued at UCLA for an additional three years to specialize in periodontics and dental implant surgery and in 1999 received specialty certificate and MS (Master of Science) degree. He opened his Beverly Hills practice in 1999, and has maintained a full time private practice specializing in periodontics and dental implants.
