We are a private pediatric practice owned by a local Flower Mound mom & Pediatric Dentist Dr. Melissa Waters. Our office has proudly been serving our community since 1997! Our warm, friendly and always-positive approach helps to foster a lifetime of dental health. More than just a traditional dentists, our team is a family of local highly trained professionals!

I have taken my kids to several other dental practices in the area and have had mixed experiences but mostly not great. A friend recommended this place, and I'm so glad she did.

Meet Dr. Melissa Waters

Born and raised in the small, midwestern town of Hastings, Nebraska, Dr. Waters knew she had a strong passion for serving others and characteristically has a nurturing personality. She was torn between several pathways, but decided to pursue nursing as the window into the healthcare world. She was accepted into the nursing program at Creighton University, and worked for several years as a nurse in critical care nursing and pediatric nursing.

Pediatric dentists have an additional 2-3 years of education beyond their 4 years of dental school. By completing this intensive and selective training program, pediatric dentists are well equipped to treat all children, including children with special health care needs or medically compromising conditions.

Taking your child to the dentist for their very first visit may cause some anxieties for you as a parent, especially if you yourself have suffered from dental fear in the past. We are going to strive to make their first visit a very positive experience for both of you! Please avoid using any negative terms such as hurt, needle, shot, etc. as we never use words like these in our office.

We participate with all PPO Dental Insurance plans. We are contracted or have arrangements with several Insurance Carriers. Our office is more than happy to collect details of your plan and reach out to your insurance company to verify eligibility, benefits and gain an understanding of the coverage your child has.
