With more than 30 years in practice, Dr. Rod Gleave combines decades of experience with an artist's eye for dental beauty, an ongoing investment in modern technology, and honest, pressure-free treatment plans that are fully explained before any work begins.Dr. Gleave earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, then completed a general practice residency in Loma Linda, CA. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute, an LVI Fellow, and Hybridge certified, and he has completed thousands of hours of continuing education in implants, cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea, laser dentistry, sedation, and TMD.
Our services include porcelain veneers, smile makeovers, teeth whitening, bonding, gum reshaping, crown lengthening, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Gleave both places and restores dental implants, including single implants, full mouth implants, zirconia implants, and locator dentures. We also offer preventive and restorative care, oral surgery, sedation for anxious patients, sleep apnea and TMJ treatment, and same-day emergency appointments. We accept many major dental insurance plans, cash, and most major credit cards, and offer in-house financing along with third-party financing through CareCredit, LendingClub, Proceed Finance, and Compassionate Finance.

This is best dentist and staff Ive ever been to, hands down. From Penny the receptionist, to Brenda the dental assistant and the man himself Dr. Rod Gleave. Ive had problems with my teeth most of my life, Ive been to a handful of dentists in SLC and with one visit Dr Gleave helped me game plan and execute. I went initially because a front tooth had broken, he fixed that in about 10 minutes, seriously. From there we dialed in some crowns and veneers and cooked up a whole new smile. Brenda and Dr Gleave were so smooth, I couldnt believe how fast every visit went. I could go on but you get the point. If youre tirelessly looking around for a dentist you feel is honest, affordable with a comfortable, welcoming office/staff like I was, look no further! I absolutely adore Dr. Gleave and his staff. I'm getting pretty close to retirement age, and decided to get a significant amount of work done on my teeth. Dr. Gleave spent plenty of time with me working out a do-able plan. Both financially and what made the most sense. His staff also worked with me to make sure that the Dr. was doing what I wanted. Dr. Gleave is an excellent dentist and his staff is just as professional as he is. I would go back to them every week if it were necessary. Fortunately Dr Gleave is such a good dentist, that it is not necessary. I would recommend Dr. Gleave to everyone.

Dr Gleave and his office provided me outstanding emergency care. He is super responsive and called in an antibiotic on a Sunday night of a Holiday weekend and scheduled to see me the following morning on Memorial day. Turns out my problem was not related to my teeth. He offered recommendations of specialists to see to determine the root cause of my infection. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and responsive...what more could you ask for?

I have struggled with depression for over a decade, my teeth were something I did not take care of. Just recently I got stable enough to start caring for myself. I have an intense fear of the dentist yet I visited two who made comments about how awful my teeth are and asked why i would let them get so bad. I had decided to give up until I had an emergency that Dr. Gleave took care of. He was kind, patient and understanding with my clear anxiety. He not once made a negative comment about my teeth and in fact praised the fact I was there now, and brushing the plaque away. He listened to my concerns about my teeth, and finances and addressed them all with kindness and understanding. The receptionist as well as the assistant make me feel welcomed.
I have two appointments scheduled and a few plans in the future. For the first time in years I feel optimistic I'll be able to fix my teeth. While I still have a fear of the dentist I've never once felt judged.

I have been going to Dr. Gleave over 20 years. Him and his staff are always so kind and make you feel so comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and has caught numerous issues I have had and referred me to a specialist early on. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will continue to always go to him.

This is the best office in Salt Lake City They bend over backwards to accommodate you. Very gentle and courteous. My daughter just got a root canal and it was a fantastic experience for her and for me.

This office is absolutely amazing. I have the worst anxiety from a past dentist office experience and every appointment I always end up crying and shaking. But the service that is offered at this office is just amazing. The receptionist, Penni, has always made me feel welcomed and cared for. Doctor Gleave understands my fears and treats me and listens to me and calms my nerves. Ive never felt more cared for at an office. I am forever grateful for finding this office and going in. Its the best!
