We are Hamel Dental, a two-generation family dental practice serving patients in Clarendon Hills since 1985. Dr. William B. Hamel founded our office, and today he practices alongside his son, Dr. Philip J. Hamel. Our practice began with Dr. Wm. H. Keehn in the 1950s before Dr. William B. Hamel III purchased it in 1985, and we continue that established legacy by welcoming patients of every age, including second- and third-generation families throughout the western suburbs. Our services include exams and cleanings, oral hygiene support, children's dentistry, dental sealants, gum disease therapy, and oral cancer screening. I highly recommend Hamel Dental! After moving to the area recently and hearing and reading positive feedback and reviews, I scheduled my first appointment. I was not disappointed! Dr. Philip, Sheila, Chris, Asia and the entire team go above and beyond. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and professional, answering all and every question (no matter how many!). Dr. Philip explained the procedures I needed thoroughly and during the appointment, continually checked in with me to see how I was doing. I had some underlying issues before starting at Hamel Dental and Dr. Philip took the time to talk through all of the issues with me. I never felt rushed. He asked me questions and listened to my concerns, providing thoughtful feedback, options and next steps. He even followed up with me to see how I was doing. Along with being an excellent dentist, Dr. Philip is a kind, caring person. I will be recommending this practice to all my family and friends!

I've been coming to see Dr. Hamel for over a decade now, and even though I no longer live in the suburbs, I still make the trip from Chicago to come here. He's an excellent dentist! (And it runs in the family!) It's easy to schedule any appointments, all the staff is very personable and always prompt, and they do excellent work. They also take the time to explain any dental changes or issues that they see, and they keep thorough records. Highly recommend!
