For Dr. Rivas, passion for dentistry extends beyond the chair. Its about forging meaningful connections with her patients. As a proud native of LA County, she earned her bachelors degree in neuroscience and biophysics from the University of Southern California. This passion for creating healthier smiles and lives inspired her to pursue a dental education at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Felt at home immediately. The people here are extremely kind and welcoming while also giving you immediate confidence in their knowledge and capabilities. I have had bad experiences in the past with dentists who have made errors and inevitably made me lose trust in their office. Dr. Rivas and her dental studio as a whole has truly helped me a lot I cannot thank them enough.

As a Latina its extremely important to me to support my community. Not only that but I saw that Dr Rivas is a member of a Latin American dental association. I highly respect people that are proud of who they are. Of course she also went to good schools etc. Dr Rivas has a great disposition and is very professional. She actually checks things that other dentists do not check. Her hygienist is sweet and wasnt as harsh in her cleaning skills as many others have been elsewhere. The office is nice looking and relaxing. Mary does a great job. My favorite thing is the view lol. In the dental chair you have a view of the outside world which is relaxing. I was focusing on a ground squirrel scurrying about lol. Anyway, parking is hell. Plus the structure is chock full of weird elites in their luxury cars which is pretty obnoxious. It is now always valet and it will set you back $10 plus tip. There are not many meter options and Mary told me about some spots in the neighborhood.

I reached out to Dr. Rivas regarding the extraction of my number 16 wisdom tooth. My previous dentist referred me to an oral surgeon who wanted to extract the other three wisdom teeth even though I am not experiencing any issues and during that time I never had any consultative discussions with the surgeon.
I connected with Dr. Rivas and she was thorough and transparent when speaking over the phone and she shared that she would be able to extract my tooth. During the procedure, she was extremely caring, asked if I was numbed properly, and checked in with me frequently during the procedure. I did not feel a thing and I was shocked on how fast she was able to successfully extract my tooth.
I highly recommend Dr. Rivas and her staff and I commend them for their professionalism and caring nature. I live in the Inland Empire and will be driving to West Hollywood since Dr. Rivas will be my dentist moving forward.
