Dr. Lana Qaqish grew up in Richmond and graduated from Deep Run High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, and the Richmond Dental Society.
Before joining Glen Allen Dental Arts in Glen Allen, VA, Dr. Qaqish served patients in both Louisa County and the Chester area. She enjoys treating individuals of all ages and is fluent in English and Arabic. Passionate about the many facets of dentistry, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a setting that puts patients at ease.

Dr. Fortner is a kind and highly competent dentist and his staff members are excellent. They all look out for the best interests of their patients. Recently, had an emergency toothache and they got me in same morning and then arranged for me to get root canal same day! They saved my holiday celebrations

I have been to this dentist since I was two years old. Dr Fortner has been so incredible and trusting when it comes to my teeth. My kids love going there as well now! They have a kids toy box I used when I was little after each visit , and now my kids get to go there too when they come in for a cleaning.
I highly recommend going here. It feels like family when visiting. it’s not just a “oh it’s a job” kind of place. Every single staff member is so kind sweet and above all patient. They go above and beyond to help you. I recommend this place to all my friends and family constantly.

Dr. Fortner and office team takes great pride in providing a family atmosphere. Yes, they provide exceptional dental services. However, they get to know you as an individual and treat you like family, even though they get to see you once or twice a year. We are moving away from the Richmond Virginia area and we will certainly miss the Fortner team being apart of our life.

Our entire family loves this practice! Both of the dentists, the hygienists, and staff members are wonderful. The kids much prefer their dental care here versus the various shiny fancy pediatric dentistry practices we tried around the area - a much more pleasant and pain free oral experience, by their reviews. I'd have Katherine, my hygienist, clean my teeth weekly just to hear her joyful laugh and enjoy her gentle but thorough cleaning! We have been seeing them for 21 years of incredible dentistry. I abhor having online public presence, but we enjoy their above-and-beyond care so much that I post.

I have been going to Dr. Fortner since I moved to Richmond 6 years ago. Dr. Fortner is a awesome dentist and his staff is excellent. They/he have always gotten me in, when I've had a dental emergency in a timely manner and my appointments are easy. Everything is always explained and my input is always asked for.
