Dr. Daniel McGovern
Daniel C. McGovern, DMD, MS, is a native of Albany, GA. He attended Georgia Southern University, where he obtained a bachelor of science in biology and a master of science in microbiology. After graduation, Dr. McGovern worked at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA, as a microbiologist conducting hepatitis research.
Dr. McGovern then obtained his doctorate of dental medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in 2018. Following graduation, he continued his dental education with a hospital-based General Practice Residency program at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.

This is my 2nd appointment and i absolutely love it and im 💯 percent satisfied. In all my years of going to the dentist for the first time I can say that I have found a dentist that is caring and loving and would care about the patients. When you enter the door you can feel the energy every one is friendly they treat you with a smile, the hygienist girl I had today i can’t remember her name. I’m sorry, she was absolutely amazing and i pray the she has a wonderful left of her pregnancy and everything goes well for her and her baby boy I pray for safe delivery for her God blessed her and baby boy 🙏 i also very happy with the dentist especially she’s a female dentist, she’s very sweet and caring and she explained all my concerns. Im thankful the God pointed me at y’all’s office. Thank you to everyone who works here. We need more people like y’all. I’m 💯 recommend you all with any hesitation. I’m very happy.

The best dental care I have ever received. They cured my dental anxiety. From the front desk, to Michelle & Stephanie & Dr McGovern, every single person that I have encountered here is beyond kind and makes you feel at ease. We lived 5 min away when we found them, we’ve since moved 25 min away & will forever continue to make the drive. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dental office.

Just had my teeth cleaned and the girl that cleaned my teeth was great. She really took her time to make sure my teeth were properly cleaned and was definitely gentle while doing it. I’ve been using Chattanooga Dental Arts for a couple years now and I absolutely will not go anywhere else because they have given me a smile I’m confident with!! I hadn’t been to a dentist in 5 years, and was very nervous. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist and am always anxious about it. The dental assistant, Jacey, was super nice and comforting, as well as gentle with sensitive areas that I had. The dentist was very thorough and encouraging and when I left it made me wonder why I waited so long to make an appointment. I highly recommend, and I am planning on making appointments for my husband and son as well.
