When you come in for a tooth whitening procedure at our dental office, you can expect several things to happen. First, it is important that, when you come in for a dental checkup, you get any cavities or other issues taken care of. One of our dentists will then consult with you so you are able to get the most out of this procedure. Then, one of our dental hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth to get rid of any film, bacteria, and other substances that could prohibit the whitening procedure from working. After your teeth are nice and clean we will then take impressions for your own custom dental trays. You will then be given a whitening gel to whitening your teeth at your own convenience. 
Dentures are removable replacements for any missing teeth in your mouth. These tooth replacements can fully replace all of your teeth, or come in a partial form if you still have remaining teeth that are in good condition. After your new denture system has been molded and you are ready to start wearing the dentures, don’t be discouraged if you have difficulties eating and speaking. Give your mouth time to adjust and know that this initial discomfort will eventually fade, and you will have a beautiful set of natural-looking teeth once more.

Upon my sister's suggestion, I visited Dr. Laga after years of avoiding the dentist. The entire staff was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. By far the absolute best dental office in Lakeland! No nonsense or pushy sales tactics trying to sell you services you don't need. I've been looking for a place like this ever since my run in with Aspen Dental who sent me home with an $1,800 bill, very expensive bad tasting rinse and trust issues. Pretty scary outcome for someone who has never even had a cavity.
You definitely won't have that problem here, though. The environment was comfortable and felt more like a visit with distant family than anything else. (I mean, if your family happened to perform routine oral cleaning and look at your mouth a lot.)

In addition to their usual thoroughness and professionalism, the staff took extra steps to ensure that the environment of the office and exam room was clean and disinfected according to CDC guidelines. I was completely comfortable that all the extra precautions kept me - and them - as safe as possible.

I had to get a tooth pulled on 8252020. I was very nervous but it was one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist. Dr. Sheumaker had the tooth out in 30 seconds with zero pain. I have had zero pain since getting the tooth pulled. Dr. Sheukaker and the entire office staff were very pleasant and put me at ease. I highly recommend them.

I am so blessed to have found Dr. Sheumaker and his amazing staff! He is gentle, caring, and he informs you of what he is doing throughout the procedure. He makes you feel comfortable. Great dentist and very honest. I have been going to Dr Sheumaker's Office since 1984 and am very happy with his work. His staff is top notch and very professional. I started taking my daughter to his office when she was nine-years-old, now she is grow with her family who use Dr Sheumaker. My grandkids love going to his office.
