We also feel it is important to educate both children and their parents as to the importance of oral health care, and the sooner you start the better. At our dental hygiene appointments, it is our goal to accomplish that. If your child is scheduled for a hygiene appointment, one of our hygienists will check for tartar and plaque; then clean and polish your child's teeth.
Office Visits
Report
If you are curious as to what to expect at your child's first visit to our office, this information is listed below. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a child's first visit to the dentist should be within six months of the eruption of their first teeth. If this is your first child, this can be very helpful.
