Endodontic Root Canal Therapy
Report
When the pulp tissue inside the root canal space becomes infected, endodontic therapy can help you preserve your tooth. The pulp tissue resides within the root canal space. The infection comes from the presence of deep decay or a fracture. The pulp's function is tooth development. Once the adult tooth has come out into our mouth the pulp serves less of a function.
Endodontic Root Canal Retreatment
Report
Most teeth that have had root canal treatment last as long as natural teeth. Sometimes, as occasionally this can happen with any medical or dental procedure your tooth may not be healing or responding to the intial therapy. An endodontist can make a revision to your root canal. This revision can often lead to a better outcome.
