He earned his B.S. in Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, M.S. of Histology, and a Doctor of Dental Sciences with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Wintersteen was raised locally in Decatur, IL as one of eight children, and now lives in Monticello with his wife Carol.

The staff at Dr. Wintersteen's office is friendly, intelligent, and dedicated to your service. Dr. Wintersteen employs seven full-time staff members: our office manager, two receptionists, two hygienists, and two dental assistants who provide the benefit of more than 75 years of combined experience (not to mention the 25+ years the doctor himself has been practicing his art).
